Delete your MICK account

MICK mobile app · Version 1.0 · Effective 16 August 2026

You can delete your MICK account at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both reach the same place. You do not need your manager's permission and you do not need to give a reason.

Option 1. In the app

  1. Open MICK and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you cannot see that option, your app is out of date. Update MICK from the App Store or Google Play, or use Option 2.

Option 2. By email

Email info@elora.com.au with the subject MICK account deletion request, from the email address you use to sign in to MICK.

Tell us your full name and the company you drive for, so we can find the right account.

We will confirm the request, delete the account, and email you when it is done. We aim to complete this within 5 business days and will not take longer than 30 days.

What gets deleted

WhatWhat happens
Your sign inDeleted. You will no longer be able to log in to MICK.
Your profileDeleted. Name, email, mobile number, profile photo and role.
Your verification codesDeleted. These expire within minutes anyway.
Your notification tokenDeleted. No further notifications will be sent to your device.
Your saved preferencesDeleted, including favourite vehicles and notification settings.
Anything stored on your phoneRemoved when you delete the app. Your PIN never leaves your device, so deleting the app removes it.

What is kept, and why

Deleting your account does not delete the wash records you created. Those records belong to your employer, not to you. They are the evidence your employer relies on to show their own customers and regulators that their trucks were washed.

WhatWhat happens
Completed wash recordsKept by your employer for 24 months from the date of the wash, including photos, rinse clips, times and locations.
Induction certificatesKept by your employer as proof that you were trained.
Spot checksKept, because they are your employer's records of their own supervision.
Audit trailsKept, including records of a manager unlocking an account. An audit trail that can be erased is not an audit trail.

Where we keep a record that has your name on it after your account is gone, we keep it because your employer needs it for compliance, or because the law requires it. Once it is no longer needed for either, it is deleted or de-identified.

If you want records about you removed from your employer's systems, that is a request to make to your employer, not to us. We will help them action it where we can.

If you change your mind

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore a deleted account. If you need MICK again after deleting your account, ask your manager to set you up with a new one.
